The Hills!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god, The Hills!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so season 1, as much as I tried to love it, just didn't quite do it for me. I liked it, just never loved it.
But season 2... good lord if the whole season is as good as the first episode... wow.

They did this run down of everyone. Lauren of course didn't go to Paris, broke up with Jason, so her summer sucked. Heidi went from oh-my-god-do-I-really-have-to-work-I-just-want-to-hang-out-underage-in-clubs to an apparent promotion and more responsibility. I love her so I was actually kind of psyched to see it. And come on, she works for a club promoter. You think even if she sucked that he was stupid enough to fire his free press with MTV? Then they show Whitney who smartly took the Paris job. And Audrina, who left her not so great receptionist job at random modeling place to become another not so great receptionist at Epic records. Seeing as how modeling/acting is her passion, it's smart that she would quit the modeling/acting place for the music place that she has no real interest in. But I'm thinking logic thinking isn't her forte so... Apparently also, Heidi is now dating Spencer who also dated, or at least wanted to sleep with Audrina. Let me tell you something boys. Unlike you all that can share a girl like it's nothing at all, girls cannot do the same. We get very bitchy if we used to be interested in a guy, haven't thought of him in 10 years, and then find out a "friend" of ours has the nerve to think about dating him.

So first part of the episode showed her dropping all of Jason's stuff on the curb for him. He was there but... and she was obviously not happy to be doing it and he looked happy as a clam. They want to try to stay friends but clearly that's not gonna be possible. Then she goes to work. This had the potential to be brilliance. Now, in the preview they showed her boss asking her very snidely about her summer decision. I had no idea how much better it would play out in reality. Now, I did feel bad for Lauren but not too much. I mean she passed up PARIS for a freaking greasy maybe guy. Whole other discussion.

So Lauren goes home, all upset and crying and how she broke up with Jason cause she was sick of crying all the time, and then she was crying cause of other things and she just wants Jason there to help her feel better. Cause she thinks how good they were... Heidi, saying the best thing I've ever heard a friend tell another friend, tells her that the best part of Jason was Lauren... that's so sweet!!!!!!!

So then they show Spencer and Heidi at dinner. Takes her to his fave Mexican place, feeds her this really sweet line about how happy he is with her, etc. They show them walking to his place with a couple bought from the guy at the corner Carnat-roses. And of course that's the password to yes I'll sleep with you tonight. She walks in the apartment the next morning telling Lauren how great he is and she's falling for him, etc. You know this is bad! Sure enough, next seen is him doing frozen yogurt with Audrina. Clearly he has an account with he cheap corner flower guy cause he's picked some from the same bunch for this date.

Clearly he's playing Heidi... and, she gets the pregnancy test too. Love the drama! love that the random friend from high school is still hanging around Lauren. LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope it stays good. Preview looked good.

More stuff happened but I'm tired and let's face it, it's MTV so you'll have 22 more chances to see it before next week.
