So, I got my first request to make sure I posted a new entry. VERY COOL. Makes me feels very important.
Went to the Saturn Dealership this morning to get an oil change. And, my window won't roll down on the driver's side so I was gonna have them fix it. But apparently, the warranty I thought I was paying extra for is not real. So I guess I'll have to verify first that I'm not paying for something they don't have on record. And then, I'll have to shop around to a place that can fix it for not a ton of money. BOO. :(
Probably going to watch the Cowboys game tonight. I must admit, as much as you don't want to like the team, it's hard not to get stoked when the rest of the city is. It's funny what a good team can do. Not to worry, I still don't own any Cowboy's attire. Although, Jennifer and I really wanted to buy ski caps when were at the game last week. But they were $22!!! I think we can find them somewhere else for cheaper. We almost bought one to share but then that's just silly.
School starts Monday. I haven't bought the books yet cause I hate doing that before the first day of class. Cause you always end up spending $100 for a non returnable book only to have the professor say you know, they make me list a text book but I really don't use it. And then you're stuck with a stupid book that's worth nothing. Here's the other crappy thing. Say you actually use the book. You can turn it back in at the end of the semester, barely written on, binding hardly cracked, and they give you like $10 cause it's now got a new edition of the book. Biggest scam ever! But of course in my undergrad, selling back books was still good for like $30 even though you spent $300. And that was $30 more of beer so... I just think sometimes I should have gone into the book selling business.
OK, I understand I live in an apartment so I kind of throw away the right to bitch about people making too much noise. But already twice today, I thought the ceiling was coming down. I realized how nice it was to not have anyone living above me for a while. And I know they just moved in, and they're unpacking and stuff. But come on. Stop walking around your apartment like you have cement blocks on!
So the guy that saved the guy from the subway in New York? AMAZING. I mean seriously. I'm not sure that many, if any of us can honestly say we would have risked our own lives like that to help someone we don't know. He's totally a hero.
So on that note, I'm out for now. May be back later. TV shows are coming back all new and we know I love me some TV so I may have a couple shows to talk about.
Later!
