First day of school

Officially done with my first class. Great classroom by the way. Kudos to the people that designed this building. It's only like 3 years old and it's amazing. Our seats were in horseshoe formation in levels. Each round had hook ups for laptops. Not just plug ins to charge but also for logging on to the Internet. Very cool. Professor was great. Reminded me a little of Bill Cosby. Not super funny, nor did he pass out Jello, just had a sort of Cosby-esque thing about him. and funny enough to keep the class entertaining. That bodes well. Seems like a really great class. Very involved, very interesting. He also said something that totally comforted me. He said that this was an A or B class. That you'd have to totally never read the book, not pay attention, and just suck at like to fail this class. And, part of our class is a group project that in two weeks when we have class again (Thanks MLK Jr Day), we get to create our groups. And, we basically have to spend the first couple weeks in and out of class hanging out and getting to know our group for the purpose of this project. I smell some beer drinking! what better way to get to know each other? If I get the sad group that wants to get to know each other over like coffee or something??? I mean I'll do it but...
Oh yeah, couple fun things from the class. So before class starts and people are kind of filing in, some are setting up laptops. Cool. Not an issue. Well then this girl comes in, makes kind of an entrance, you know makes sure people see her and whatnot... Well our professor has also walked in at this point and is getting his stuff set up. So loud girl with computer sees the bloated Scott Stapp sitting nearby and decides that he can help with some computer issue she's having. So prof announces the class and hey if you're in the wrong place, no hard feelings, but you should leave now, etc. Well loud girl realizes she's not in the right class. But apparently, wrong class or not, being assisted by who I've now come to know is the lead singer of the foreign version of Creed is top priority. So she proceeds to stay in the wrong class for another 5 minutes until she finally leaves. This is one reason I love college. You always have these people. That clearly aren't aware of what they're doing but are providing quite the show for everyone else. Couple people by me were giggling too so at least I wasn't the only one.
Um, lots of people liking the surfing the net option of having the laptop in class. I'm gonna start to resent those people and become increasingly jealous... But I won't break down and bring the laptop...
Overall, great first day. Super bonus points to the prof when he said so... I could talk for another hour and half but clearly most of us in here are pretty interested in that national championship tonight so if there are no more questions, I'll see you in two weeks. LOVE THIS GUY!

Mini rant and then I'm done. Britney Spears... ok, she was trash all along. Just trash that had money. Money can only hide it for so long. Why are we all acting surprised at her recent "questionable behavior"? I mean come on. She just always had people that were there to cover her, or crazy amounts of money that could buy pretty things and good makeup. Give the girl a break. Now I would like to see her with the kiddos a little more... But still. oh, and I was all over the there is no Suri, the adoption hasn't come through, etc on the TomKat thing. Ok, so 4 months and we haven't seen Jayden James or whatever... Why are we not flipping out? Even thought clearly fathering children has never been a weakness of KFed but... Double standard I guess. And, Suri is totally Chris Klein's baby but whatever...
